The Professional Association of Nurses in Developmental Disability Australia (PANDDA) is pleased to invite you to join with us for the 36th Annual National PANDDA Conference and Annual General Meeting.
The two-day conference will be held on Thursday 30 October and Friday 31 October 2025 at the Royal on the Park Hotel, Brisbane.
The conference will be an interactive and informative event and a wonderful opportunity to meet and share our experiences as nurses, people with lived experience, support workers and health and other professionals who support, care, advocate, educate and research in the area of intellectual developmental disability. Through sharing stories, experiences, research, innovation and insights, we can further our commitment to providing quality care, support, and advocacy.
Conference Theme
The theme for this year’s conference is “Visibility and Influence: Nursing in the NDIS”.
This year’s conference will spotlight the essential role nurses play in improving health outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It will highlight innovative practices, foster collaboration between healthcare professionals and individuals with lived experience and demonstrate the transformative contributions of nurses within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
With an audience including NDIS participants, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and advocates, the two-day event promises to be a platform for inspiration, learning, and meaningful connections.
Abstract Topics
Abstracts are invited on topics that address the conference theme, across a variety of themes e.g. delivering excellence in health care, promoting best practice, practice research for the real world.
Join us and share your experience in influencing best practice and increasing the visibility of nurses in key roles that promote good outcomes for people with disability.
PANDDA Awards
The Call for Abstracts provides the opportunity for all nurses or individuals with lived experience in intellectual developmental disability to apply to deliver a presentation and be considered for a PANDDA Award.
